Fire

 

Wenatchee was really dry this year.  Combine that with a freak lightning storm and this is what you get.

 

 

I took these from our back deck.

Thankfully we live across the river from it.  We are surrounded by national forest so the fires burned for a month until the rain started. 

 

 

The smoke flooded our valley and the air was like standing on the wrong side of the camp fire for a month.  Thank goodness for healthy lungs.
