This was Tate's second year of soccer.
He has gotten very good at dribbling the ball down the field and is very fast.
He is still a little too polite to the other team though.
The season was postponed because of all of the smoke so the ganes were freezing cold. That's okay we just bundled up!
Tate and his trophy!
My favorite time of year!
Tate was getting into the spirit while we put up our Halloween Decorations.
Pumpkin carving. Slimy and fun. Greysen actually refused to touch the gooey fun.
Zoe and Tate are old pro's.
Can you tell what this is? The clue is that Tate has become very interested in angry birds recently.
Grey follows the example of his brother.
Ben's super scary pumpkin.
and Zoe's own creation. This was the first year Zoe designed hers from start to finish.
This years theme was Plants vs Zombies
I am the sunflower, Grey is the zombie, Tate is the pea shooter, Zoe is a doom shroom and Ben and Bek are the Gargantuan Zombie and baby.
Bekett is eating cereal now.
He has also started using his jumper. This video is his first time in the jumper. You can see that he wants the bird so bad but still hasn't figured out how to reach with his hands so he is trying to grab it with his mouth.
And loves to listen to Zoe practice piano...
He is the cutest audience.
Zoe joined the cross country team this year.
I am so proud of her. She is not a natural runner. She has to work hard at it. I have watched her work hard and push through the pain. She is very determined. She never came in first place but she was not discouraged by that. Her goal was to run the entire time and finish each race which she did. He coaches have noticed this as well and she actually was given a student of the month award for "self management" on the cross country team.
One of the races was at a ski resort and the boys got to play on a ski lift swing.
Bekett is geting to be such a big boy. He will no longer lie back in his swing he has to be sitting up so that he can look around.

Wenatchee was really dry this year. Combine that with a freak lightning storm and this is what you get.
I took these from our back deck.
Thankfully we live across the river from it. We are surrounded by national forest so the fires burned for a month until the rain started.
The smoke flooded our valley and the air was like standing on the wrong side of the camp fire for a month. Thank goodness for healthy lungs.
Zoe started the 6th grade this year.
She has become quite the fashionista. Lucky for me she is wearing the same size as me in everything except pants. Which means lots of fun sharing clothes between the two of us!
Cute Tate had to get a hair cut.
Tate at his school. He is starting 1st grade.
Poor Grey was so sad to see his big brother leave for the whole day.

Despite our crazy busy summer we were able to take 2 fun trips out to Lake Chelan with some good friends of ours.
The Dames took us out on thier boat...
Here I am. Kinda wierd I am usually the one behind the camera.
Bek was a little small for his life jacket but he didn't seem to mind.
Tate was full of smiles!
Me and Bek sitting with Haley and Scarlett.
John was manning the boat.
Here the kids were hanging out in the cabin. Zoe, Cosette, Atticus, Scarlett, Tate, and Greysen.
Love those smiles!
Love what the life preserver does to those cheeks!
Of course we had to jump off of the boat!
Happy swimming kiddos!
Tate was just full of cheesy grins that day!
Later in the summer or friends the Sampsons came out to play with us at the Lake.
Ben and Paul tried to get all the kids on the paddle board at once.
They almost made it.
Jaron building a sand castle.
Ben brought the rocket launcher.
You can also see BEth in the background trying out the paddle board.
Grey is going to launch the rocket.
Jack was great on the paddle board.
Zoe is getting really good at it too.
Another one of Jack...
And the wipe out!
I spent most of the day with the baby out of the sun which explains why this picture of Beth on the paddle board is so far away.
