Birthday, Easter, Birthday, Spring

Tate turned 7 in February.

 

This kid is so awesome!

He is super smart, very helpful, hilariously funny and meticulous.

 

He is my first pick if I need someone to help me with a job.

 

I love how expressive he is.

 

He treats all of his friends with kindness and respect.

 

Man I love this kid!

 

Tate chose to make paper airplanes you shoot with a straw at his birthday party.

Greysen is not a morning person

Fearing splashing colored water we decided to try a new technique for coloring eggs this year.

We braved the Apple Blossom Parade this year but little did we know it would be a 3 hour affair.

Bekett turned 1!

He loves to eat berries and drink milk.  Most other things he will take a bite of and then spit them out.

Bekett hed some birthday pictures taken.  She had a hard time gettin ghim to smile since she is a stranger but they are still adorable!

 

 

 

Tate participated in an engineering club where they built towers and then competed with the other schools for the highest tower.



 

 

 

He came in first for his school and second overall.

 

He wears the medal everyday!

Talents!

We have had some great opportunities to share our talents over the past few months.

Zoe continues to take piano lessons and this is one of her recitals.

Zoe started to play the cello this year.  This is one of her school performances.

Zoe also continues in dance

Tate got to display his kedama skills at the ard talen show.

Not to be shown up by his siblings Grey put on an impromptu performance.

Since I am the Young Woman's President I was required to participate.  It was my Secretary Ami's dream to do chin singing.

Ben is in the Bishopric so they also preformed a talent.

Fun Times!



It is super busy in the Sorensen house right now.  Here is an update of some of the fun things we have done so far this year.

 

Tate gave basketball a try under gret duress.  He does not try new things willingly.  In fact when he learned to read and we asked if he wanted to go to Disney Land he said, "NO!"

 

Anyway, he had a hard time because the baskets were so high but he finished it out and we were proud of him.

 

 

Zoe decided that she wanted to try the Cello this year in Orchestra.  She likes it better than the Viola although she thinks it is harder.

Zoe is still playing piano too.
 

 

 

Tate is playing piano still also.

 

Bekett is not yet playing any instruments but he does blow a mean oatmeal raspberry!

 



 

He has an adorable laugh too!

He has also learned to voice his opinion...
 

 

He loves being naked and taking baths.
 

Greysen of course has to jump in front of the camera to show off his cutness!

 

 

Bekett is also working on getting in and out of tight places. 

 

 

The Holidays

We spent the Holidays this year at home relaxing and having fun as a family.

 

Zoe made her first batch of freezer fudge.

The turkey was perfect this year.

 



 

Tate, Zoe and I made rolls together.  This was my favorite part of Thanksgiving.  It was so nice to spend time together working together.

We all changed out of our pajamas to eat and then changed back!

 

It was so yummy!

We played Blokus.

 

And ate pie...

 

And took naps.

Tate lost a tooth and wrote this letter to the tooth fairy.

Man I love these ladies!  This was my Primary Presidency.  We had our final birthday/anniversary celebration together before Tina left for Korea.

 

Ben had a birthday.  If you are thinking that that is a funny looking cake, it is not a cake.  Ben wanted 7 layer dip.

 

We made a gingerbread house.

 

This was Greysen's first gingerbread house and he was so into it!

 

Zoe was kind of grumpy that night.

 

So I decided to decorate her instead.

 

We got these great pajamas for Christmas.

 

The kids loved the bums!

We stayed in our pajamas for much of the vacation.  Here I am vacuuming with the vacuum Santa gave me!

Tate Soccer

This was Tate's second year of soccer.

 

He has gotten very good at dribbling the ball down the field and is very fast. 

He is still a little too polite to the other team though.

 

The season was postponed because of all of the smoke so the ganes were freezing cold.  That's okay we just bundled up!
